The image of 1904 1974 2004 is a unique artist’s book commissioned for the 100th anniversary of the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at the George Washington University, Washington, D.C. Robinson has been creating unique and limited edition artist’s books since 1981. Her current work has taken her in a new direction that actively engages her 93-years-young mother in her studio practice. She will be demonstrating Japanese paper marbling during the studio tour. Internationally known artist Pia Pizzo will be presenting her artist’s books at Robinson’s studio the weekend of the Mid-City Studio Tour as well.
