Molly’s work explores relationships, family constructs, and environmental issues by creating illustrated narratives on her forms, whether they are sculptural forms or vessels. Her current work is driven by concern for the environment, including land and animals that we are the stewards of. The images are influenced by historical illustrations and her own research. Molly earned her MFA, with distinction, from California State University, Northridge in 2001. Molly has been the head of the Ceramics Program at Cypress College since 2004, before that she taught at various colleges and universities throughout Southern California.
