“The illiterate of the future will be he who cannot photograph.”—Laszlo Moholy-Nagy
I was hooked on photography when a friend loaned me his single-lens reflex camera in the early ‘70s. Frustrated that I could not draw with ease, but feeling compelled to communicate visually, I took up photography with a zeal that has continued to this day.
While I still love the process of shooting black and white film, and even making darkroom prints on occasion, I am usually shooting with a digital camera and using Photoshop to process and print my images. Indeed, like many people today, my iPhone is often my camera at hand and of choice.

I also make mixed media pieces using a combination of old school and 21st century processes.

The goal always: communicating with people.
